She is one of the most interesting people Jeff has come in contact with, and Alida Schuyler’s life is a story to be told. Jeff met her 8 to 10 years ago while he was doing the Crossroads Recovery Program. She is the co-founder of Recovery Coaches International and Director of Crossroads Recovery Coaching Inc. Aside from this she provides private coaching for select individuals as well. Alida got her training for coaching from the Academy of Coach Training now known as InviteChange.
A certified Professional Life coach, Alida gets her inspiration for her work from the experiences she had from her own life.
Alida talks to Jeff about her life, her addictions and experiences that led her to this path. They also discuss what ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) is about, Orphan Syndrome, principles of harm reduction and how providing stability to the life of your child can affect his or her future.
